چکیده

Irrigation scheduling methods have been used to determine the timing and amount of water applied crops. Scheduling techniques can include measurement soil content, quantification crop use, monitoring physiological response stress. The aim this study was evaluate performance a simplified canopy temperature (CTM) method as Principles. Soil Water Conservation Engineera technique schedule irrigation for maize. Specifically, Degrees Above Non-Stressed (DANS) index, which suggests stress when exceeds non-stressed (Tcns), determined by estimating Tcns from weather based multilinear regression model. modeled had strong correlation with observed pooled R2 values 0.94 across 2018, 2019, 2020 growing seasons. This DANS index also highly correlated conventionally Crop Stress Index (CWSI) 0.67, 0.59, 0.76 in 2020, respectively. Furthermore, linear relationship depletion above 60% 0.60 m profile an 0.78. CTM compared more commonly namely: moisture (SMM) evapotranspiration modeling (ETM). Grain yield significantly lower than ETM 2018 but not 2019. No significant differences were Productivity (IWP) 2018; however, all treatments different having greatest IWP 2020. For attempting trigger full method, fixed threshold 0.5 °C found be appropriate literature value 1.0 °C, consideration growth stage would further improve scheduling.

Irrigation Scheduling for Maize and Indian-mustard based on Daily Crop Water Requirement in a Semi- Arid Region

Maize and Indian mustard are significant crops in semi-arid climate zones of India. Improved water management requires precise scheduling of irrigation, which in turn requires an accurate computation of daily crop evapotranspiration (ETc). Daily crop evapotranspiration comes as a product of reference evapotranspiration (ET0) and the growth stage specific crop coefficients modified for daily var...

Groundwater level fluctuation forecasting Using Artificial Neural Network in Arid and Semi-Arid Environment

In arid and semi-arid environments, groundwater plays a significant role in the ecosystem. In the last decades, groundwater levels have decreased due to the increasing demand for water, weak irrigation management and soil damage. For the effective management of groundwater, it is important to model and predict fluctuations in groundwater levels. In this study, groundwater table in Kashan plain ...

Runoff and sediment yield modeling using WEPP in a semi-arid environment (Case study: Orazan Watershed)

Water erosion is a major environmental problem in many parts of the world. Majority of semi-arid countries are concerned because of their specific climate and soils sensitivity, but also because of the recent intensification of human activities and agricultural practices. Accurate estimation of water erosion for various land-use and climate scenarios is so an important key to define sustainable...
